Join us for an interactive workshop at RED Academy and put yourself in the driver’s seat of the design process.

We’ll be running these hands-on activities on UX/UI (user experience/user interface):

  • mood boards and colour theory
  • design challenges and inspiration
  • user interface questionnaires
  • networking and community building

Don’t know what any of these words mean? No problem! We love tech and we love to teach, so no experience is needed to make the most of our Design Workshop!

We celebrate the start of each cohort with one of our legendary Friday Socials and YOU are invited to join us!

If you are an incoming full or part-time student, or just interested in learning more about RED and our culture, join us for a beer. Our instructors & staff will be hanging out and are excited to get to know everyone as the cohort kicks off. Bring a friend, grab a drink and get ready for a great summer!

We can’t wait to meet you!

We’re excited to announce that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Solve initiative is looking for tech solutions around four new Global Challenges, including one on future of work:

Work of the Future: How can those most affected by the technology-driven transformations of work create productive and prosperous livelihoods for themselves? #FutureOfWork

Here’s how it works: Solve advances lasting solutions from tech entrepreneurs to address the world’s most pressing problems. Solve issues four Challenges each year across its pillars — Economic Prosperity, Health, Learning, and Sustainability — to find the most promising Solvers who will drive transformational change. Each Solver receives $10,000 and opportunities for additional funding from across the Solve community. Solve then deploys its global community of private, public, and nonprofit leaders to form partnerships these Solvers need to scale their impact.

If you have a solution for Solve’s four new challenges, apply at solve.mit.edu by July 1, 2018.
