Jane is a recognized leader in sustainable innovation and has extensive experience growing successful companies at the intersection of business and sustainability. She co-founded, grew, and profitably sold a renewable energy company, and leverages over 25 years of experience in venture capital, cleantech, and sustainability to help build businesses that matter. Jane is a co-founder of the CanadaCleantech Alliance, sits on the board of Clear Blue Technologies International (TSXV: CBLU) and Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation I, II, III and IV (NASDAQ: DCRB, DCRB, DCRC and DCRD), is an advisory board member for StandUp Ventures and Amplify Ventures, and is a member of the Expert Panel on Clean Growth for the Canadian Institute for Climate Choices. She holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Sylvain has spent the last 25 years thinking, writing, building, and investing in emerging technologies. A self-proclaimed nerd, socialist, and pragmatist, Sylvain believes in technology as a means to transform complex systems (even if he knows it is quite hard), and loves investing in ideas and people aiming to transform sectors and industries. He is Senior Director at SecondMuse Capital in Montréal, where he focuses on entrepreneurial climate innovation. Previously, he served as a General Partner at Real Ventures from 2014 to 2020, where he is still a Venture Partner. He also has a decade of experience being a CTO and co-founder.

In addition to being Partner & CFO of Cindicates—a Victoria-based Seed VC Fund focused on providing early funding to local startups and supporting the local tech economy—Stephanie is also a Founding Partner of Women’s Equity Lab and Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Capital Investment Network (CIN), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the local angel investment community. She is the former VP of Finance at TIMIA Capital, and was previously Associate Partner, Diligence at Espresso Capital, an innovative financial firm that provides tax credit and recurring revenue financing to growing technology companies.
