Community Marketing Manager

Spring empowers high-growth founders to change the world through entrepreneurship. Based in Vancouver (Canada), we’re a global incubator, accelerator and advisory firm that helps impact entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ecosystem builders thrive. Our services span from advisory work to a full range of innovation programs, including incubation, acceleration, funding & investor training, as well as workshops & events.

As Community Marketing Manager, your role is to develop and lead a community marketing strategy that leverages our stakeholder community to elevate our brand, fill programs and attract new advisory clients.

So, what will you do?

Becoming a Community Marketing Manager at Spring is an engaging, inspiring, and challenging opportunity. The majority of your time will be focused on engaging with our community stakeholders to promote our brand and generate leads for our programs and services.

That includes:


  • Designing, implementing and reviewing marketing campaigns to drive awareness of programs, secure partner support, and drive high-quality applications to Spring programs.
  • Measuring and reporting back on campaign performance with recommendations on next steps

Social Media & Blogging

  • Developing and deploying a social media strategy to drive awareness and engagement with Spring through social channels.
  • Creating and curating content.
  • Engaging proactively with stakeholders and followers as needed.

Community Management

  • Curating and creating engaging content and online events for our community members.
  • Moderating discussions and managing membership on our new online platform.
  • Finding creative ways to recognize partners, engage with mentors, and celebrate our program participants.
  • Working with the project management team to ensure a successful program experience for participants.
  • Leveraging our community to build new partnerships, increase awareness of Spring programs, recruit participants, and celebrate impact.


  • Planning, generating awareness and driving attendance for online and offline Spring events.


  • Updating and maintaining content on the Spring website and other promotional materials as needed.

This role is for you if you:

  • Have 2-5 years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • Understand how to leverage marketing, content, and analytics to drive business results.
  • Love building relationships and engaging with stakeholder communities.
  • Have a creative eye, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

You must also be:

  • Passionate about impact entrepreneurship and making the world a better place.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive and creative problem solver.

And these skills would be a great plus!

  • Experience with tools like WordPress, Mailchimp, Active Campaign and/or Zapier
  • Design abilities for things like social graphics, simple web pages, and documents
    Entrepreneurial or startup experience
  • A love of chocolate and dessert – our team loves to eat! 🙂
