Fundraising isn’t easy. Get experienced support to become investment-ready!
Spring Activator is partnering with YukonUniversity Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Yukonstruct, and Yukon Venture Angels to develop the ecosystem of early-stage angel investors in the Yukon.
Since the start of 2022, these organizations have partnered to launch the first Investor Challenge in the territory. The goal has been to foster interest in early-stage local investments on the investor side. On the entrepreneur side, the goal is to develop the other side of the coin: provide early-stage startups with an understanding of what angel investment is about, what it takes to raise funds, and more generally understand how this fits with their entrepreneurial journey.
The Partners have decided to set up a hands-on Investment Readiness Training to equip startups in the Yukon with the right tools to prepare for investment and funding. If you are curious to learn the ins and outs of capital raising for your startup, whether you’re looking into or currently raising debt financing or directly from investors, find your best foot forward by learning the fundamentals from those that have been there many times before.
Through 8 sessions, running from September 2022 to January 2023, of interactive learning with experts, guest speakers, and other entrepreneurs from Spring Activator and Volition, this program will provide the tools, frameworks, and best practices to help entrepreneurs gain confidence to seek strategic impact funding.
This Investment Readiness program is designed for founders who are seriously considering about the investment process or ready to raise funds but are overwhelmed by the daunting and mysterious process.
This program is also suitable for non-profits/charities who are operating social enterprises, ready to think about scale finance as a tool to grow or scale.
Spring’s Learning Management System will be available to all participants to access supplemental videos, tools, and resources.
Applications will be accepted on ongoing basics until the cohort is filled
