We’re thrilled to announce that the District of Squamish, supported by the Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Squamish, and the Downtown Squamish BIA, has launched the Business Resilience Program to business owners and entrepreneurs in the community.
Business Resilience: A Program Designed to Help You Recover, Adapt, and Survive
Business Resilience is an online program created by Spring to help businesses recover, adapt, and survive challenging economic conditions. The program consists of 4 modules and 18 subtopics, covering every aspect of business from assessing COVID-19 and the recession to all things funding. The program format is ‘A La Carte’ style, where participants can go at their own pace and select the most appropriate content for their current needs.
Connect With Like-Minded People
Anyone who signs up to the Business Resilience Program from Squamish will also be invited to join the Spring Online Community Platform. The online community is a space where participants can ask questions, contribute, network and access additional resources from fellow entrepreneurs. Think of it as an exclusive and private Facebook group!
Provincial "Ask Me Anything" Live Sessions
As part of the Squamish Business Resilience Program, participants will have access to bi-weekly live AMA sessions where they’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, in real-time, to business experts and selected guest speakers. You can watch a replay of a previous session here.
“COVID-19 has introduced significant operating complexity for small business owners who already face diverse responsibilities each day. The Business Resiliency Program is meant to help entrepreneurs identify new areas of opportunity for their business, prioritize their approach, and help businesses thrive amidst constantly evolving circumstances.” Commented Kate Mulligan, Economic Development Officer at the District of Squamish.
A huge thank you to the District of Squamish for partnering with Spring to provide business resilience to the Squamish community. Congratulations to the District, Kate Mulligan, Alicia Woodside, Nicola Slater, and the team on this milestone.
For all business owners and entrepreneurs in Squamish, you can register for the program here.
