We’re excited to announce that the Sunshine Coast Credit Union (SCCU), in partnership with Spring, has launched and is now providing the Business Resilience Program to any company on the Sunshine Coast free of charge.
The SCCU’s Reinforce Business Resilience Program offers a three-tiered approach that provides Sunshine Coast business owners and entrepreneurs a well-rounded system of support.
Online Business Resilience Courses ‘A La Carte’
The first tier includes online modules designed to guide businesses to assess, respond, adapt, and thrive. Content covered in the program ranges from understanding the uniqueness of the COVID-19 economic crisis to evaluating the financials, sales, marketing, and other aspects of a business. “This platform is about providing entrepreneurs with the tools to reassess their business model and reset based on new expectations. We feel that this is a critical first step to reinvention,” said Erin McGregor, Acting VP, Commercial Services at SCCU.
A Community in a Time of Crisis
The second tier includes full-time access to an online community hub for fellow entrepreneurs to get together in a peer-to-peer fashion, ask questions, contribute, and learn from each other’s experiences. Businesses need community and support during this challenging time, and the community platform is built to encourage and nurture a sense of togetherness in a time where entrepreneurs need one another th
#AskMeAnything on Business Resilience
The final tier of the SCCU’s Business Resilience Program includes bi-weekly ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) sessions where members can ask questions directly to their course instructor and receive added consultation. These sessions are dynamic, and depending on frequently asked questions around certain topics, experts will be invited to co-host the AMAs.
Reinvention Start Here
The Business Resilience Program is one part of the SCCU’s larger commitment to reinforcing financial wellness for the Sunshine Coast community. Under the broader initiative of ‘Reinvention Starts Here,’ individuals can access six pillars designed to support them from various angles. Other initiatives available to SCCU member businesses include eligibility to apply for up to $100,000 in non-repayable grants (with applications starting now!).
“While we don’t have a playbook on what’s coming next, we do know that this is a perfect time to revisit our own strategies, understand our members’ changing expectations and respond to the opportunities that go along with this,” commented Jodi Fichtner, Chief Marketing Officer at SCCU. “This platform allows us to share this reinvention path with the entire Sunshine Coast business community, so we can be resilient and sustainable, together.”
A huge thank you to the SCCU for partnering with Spring to provide business resilience to the Sunshine Coast community. Congratulations to the SCCU, Jodi Fichtner, Erin McGregor, and the team on this milestone.
