We work with impact-driven food innovators looking to move to Canada and scale their businesses while solidifying their immigration status under the Canadian Start-up Visa immigration pathway.
We are living in the rise of the food innovation economy.
As global demand increases due to a growing population and producing food sustainably becomes ever more important, food security will increasingly depend on access to healthy and affordable choices and locally sourced options promoting freshness, health, and the planet’s overall wellbeing.
From food processing and manufacturing to packaging and distribution, this sector greatly impacts global ecosystems. That’s why it’s integral to collaborate with food entrepreneurs and develop innovative solutions towards food security, waste reduction, sustainable production, and more.
At Spring Activator, we’ll be running a food innovation-themed IMPACT Startup Visa Accelerator Program, specifically supporting immigrant entrepreneurs in the F&B industry looking to move to Canada and scale their businesses to access the North American market.
Our IMPACT Startup Visa Program operates under the banner of the Canadian Start-up Visa immigration avenue, a program supporting entrepreneurs seeking to immigrate to Canada to accelerate innovation and job creation in the country.

Any F&B-related business that has a giveback component or creates a positive impact. To learn more about what impact means at Spring, we encourage you to read this article.
The F&B-specific Startup Visa Accelerator is an offshoot from our general IMPACT Startup Visa Accelerator Program, a comprehensive 4-month program combining traditional business acceleration with processes, support, and connections to help immigrant entrepreneurs solidify Canada as the home base for their businesses.
The primary differences between the two versions of the Program are the following:
The exact date of the program intake is yet to be announced. However, if you’re looking to join this Program between now and early 2022, then we highly encourage you to apply as soon as possible to account for application and visa processing times.
"I now find myself ready to take on any challenge!"
“The IMPACT Start Up Visa Program gave me the tools and connections I needed to accelerate towards my goals. More than that, it gave me the courage, vision, and guidance to dream bigger and aim higher. Good food means good fuel, and it is our mission at Italian Meat Master to produce healthy food and empower our consumers to contribute positively.”
