Overview
Spring’s Essentials for Founders programs support investment-curious founders to strengthen their business activities and identify the forms of funding best suited to their business needs and aspirations. They are open to all early-stage impact ventures that are making a positive social and/or environmental difference with their company.
These programs are mainly self-paced and ‘always on’, perfect for early-stage entrepreneurs with a lot on the go and are considering developing a funding map.
- Supporting ventures – To help you build the capital strategy needed to make your growth goals a reality.
- Raise right – Develop readiness to raise the right capital at the right time.
- Build awareness – Promote and build national awareness of incredible ventures to diversify the investment ecosystem and create opportunities in the process.
- Connect with the community – Build community with other like-minded ventures looking to raise capital to support their growth.
Current Essentials Courses
The Discovery Foundation Essentials in Startup Investment program supports investment-curious founders to strengthen their business activities and identify the forms of funding best suited to their business needs and aspirations. This program is open to all early-stage impact ventures while prioritizing BC- based companies in health innovation as well as founders from underrepresented communities.
The WIN-VC Essentials in Right-Fit Capital program supports entrepreneurs who are investment-curious, seeking to strengthen their business activities and identify the forms of funding best suited to their company’s needs and aspirations. This edition has been designed for women & non-binary leaders based in Alberta & the Yukon as part of the WIN-VC collective, supported by ISED’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy.
