What is Scale Ready?

We’re leveraging our track record of catalyzing nearly $100M in impact investment to help Canadian impact ventures get the capital they need to unlock growth. Scale Ready is customized to your company’s stage and goals, providing you with tailored access to experts with deep knowledge of your stage, sector and challenges.

Some of the most common challenges we tackle include (but definitely aren’t limited to):

Adjusting your pitch deck for different audiences

How to navigate leading while also raising

Who is Eligible?

Scale Ready is open to impact companies that:

Are based in Canada or the United States
Are solving a social or environmental issue by contributing to one or more of the UN Global Goals (SDGs)
Are an incorporated private issuer according to securities laws

What do we mean by “impact”? You’re focused on making a positive difference. This can include, but isn’t limited to, sectors like:

Healthtech/Femtech
Climate Tech/Cleantech
Responsible Consumption & Production
Reduced Inequalities
Education

Which Level is Right for Me?

Scale Ready is designed to support companies at 4 specific stages, with each level leading strategically into the next:

Build: Your company is pre-revenue or early-stage and new to the investment landscape. You’re seeking to understand more about how investment could work for your company and need support to prepare the fundamental strategy and materials for future raises.

• Elevate
  Round Prep: You have an established product or service that’s generating revenue or showing strong traction, and are planning to raise $150K–$1.5M within the next 12 months. You’ve likely completed a Friends & Family round and are ready to engage with angel investors and/or institutional capital.
  Round Ready: Same as Round Prep, plus you’re currently raising and need immediate support to navigate specific challenges you’re facing. You’ll work in tandem with key experts to provide the timely, custom insights and strategies you need to strengthen your offering and increase the chances of successfully closing your round.

Grow: You’re established and looking to expand into new markets, scale operations and/or expand your product line. We use a customized venture studio model that’s focused on unlocking growth by providing you with a bespoke, KPI-focused growth plan supported by monthly Advisory Board sessions alongside tailored support from the Spring team, EIRs, subject-matter experts, key partners and more.
