Community Manager

Spring is looking for an enthusiastic Community Manager to assist with maintaining and growing our vibrant, collaborative, and connected membership community.
 
Spring is changing the world through entrepreneurship. Based in Gastown, Vancouver, we deliver entrepreneur programs and partner with organizations in 30+ locations around the world to provide capacity building advisory support and develop the impact entrepreneur ecosystem.
 
Reporting to the CEO, the Community Manager role will be integral in creating, planning, executing, and managing community, communications, and events. The Community Manager will be a key contact for entrepreneurs, alumni, mentors, investors, and partners to ensure we provide an exceptional and value-added experience to each stakeholder. They will work as a consummate networker with our community to help them realize the impact they are striving to achieve.

So what will you do?

  • Drive our external community communications, including:
    • Newsletters, PR, and social posts.
    • Program calls, kick offs and successes
    • Partner communications
    • Internal stakeholders and internal communication processes
  • Welcome and engage entrepreneurs and mentors accepted into programs into our community
  • Develop strategies to develop our broader community development, including all partners, funders, and other stakeholders
  • Be the voice of the community in Spring projects
  • Organize and lead the execution of Spring events with the support of the team
  • Represent Spring at internal and external events, as required
  • Work with the team to ensure our community database is current

  • People Person: customer-oriented and energized by networking and influencing
  • People Person. You have to love people. We can’t stress this enough.
  • Strong organizational skills with a customer success and project excellence mindset
  • Fun: You bring joy to your work, even when the going gets tough
  • Team player: ability to devise projects, but able to share responsibilities and see projects through to completion
  • Ability to plan and manage a variety of meetings/events
  • Energetic with a thoughtful approach to community building
