1. Mohadeseh Jazaei, Founder – Safe Step
Mohadeseh Jazaei, our alumni from the Fall 2019 cohort, recently visited our office in Vancouver. Having moved to Canada just in October 2023 from Iran, Mohadeseh brought fresh perspectives and insights to the business landscape. During her visit, she had the opportunity to meet up with Fabiola and Loreen from our ISV team, sparking inspiring conversations about innovation in health and education.
Mohadeseh shared an innovative project she’s passionate about—the “Safe Step” smart gadget. This groundbreaking gadget, consisting of a micro gadget and an application, offers a range of services catering to children, parents, disabled individuals, and older adults. It aims to revolutionize the way we approach health and education through technology.
2. Dr Saira Siddique, General Manager & Founder – MedIQ Solutions
On another note, Saira recently received her Work Permit and decided to visit Canada at the end of last year. During her stay, she met with Zav our ISV Program Manager, at our Toronto office. We are proud to highlight MedIQ, a company enabling medical practices of all sizes to digitize their services. From electronic health records to practice management and medical billing, MedIQ’s advanced technology enhances healthcare delivery, making it efficient and cost-effective.
3. Azfar Salam, Founder – The Little Hub Co
Azfar is a seasoned former banker with a passion for innovation and education. Azfar is not only an experienced financial professional but also the proud owner of several thriving education businesses.
His venture “The Little Hub” is on a mission to simplify the lives of families searching for affordable and accessible daycare services. Recognizing the challenges in the $8.1 billion Canadian daycare industry, The Little Hub employs AI and data-driven tools to bridge the gap in this highly fragmented sector. Their online platform aims to make finding daycare services easier, especially in larger cities. We applaud their dedication to making a positive impact on families across the country.
4. Shanmugaraj Rajamanickam, Founder & Studio Head – Protelo Studios
Protelo Studios is a leading localization studio located in Chennai, India. They support around 100 languages worldwide. In the near future, they aim to enter the non-profit filmmaking sector for social awareness. Protelo Studios offers professional voice-over recordings for media outlets and corporate clients in over 100 Indian and international languages. Their high-quality services, fast turnaround time, and competitive rates have made them a popular choice for voice-over production in India.
