The Women-Led Impact Investor Challenge empowers participants to understand what is involved in investing women and non-binary led, purpose-driven businesses that align with their values and target returns. Through the Women-Led Impact Investor Challenge, Spring facilitates a joint cohort of participants and impact ventures to navigate all aspects of the impact investment process. From market analysis and impact measurement to negotiation, we work through a detailed program, culminating in an optional opportunity to invest in the Top Company.
We recognize that women and non-binary founders often build companies that address overlooked sectors of the economy that offer meaningful opportunities for change. They also face significant biases when raising funds, leaving them seriously lacking the capital to grow their companies and increase their impact. These companies significantly outperform their peers, which means opportunities to create values-infused financial returns are being missed. We’re here to change that with you.
What You Can Expect
Through the program, and beyond, you can expect to:
Learn what impact investing is and how it makes a difference
Develop and refine an impact investing thesis that resonates with your purpose
Create lifelong connections with a supportive, like-minded community
Learn what to look for in early-stage companies, including team dynamics, market analysis & more
Engage in the due diligence process, including negotiations and paperwork.
